U.S. JUJITSU TEAM WINNER
Mr. BYRD. Mr. President, on November 2, 1985, the U.S. jujitsu team won the 1985 world karate jujitsu championships that were held in Trinidad. This is the first time that this world title has been won by the United States. On the way to gaining this world title, members of the team collected 11 trophies and medals.
The head coach and team physician for the U.S. team is Dr. L. Bruce Holbrook, a West Virginian. The following is a list of those members that make up the U.S. team and the results of the competition.
